We are a group of beekeepers in the northwestern corner of Virginia who are dedicated to increasing public awareness about beekeeping and the valuable role of honey bees in nature and agriculture. We promote the art and science of beekeeping.

UPCOMING EVENTS at SKY MEADOWS STATE PARK:

2018 Crooked Run Valley 5k, 10k and Half Marathon: December 1, 2018 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Wine & Food Festival: December 1 & 2, 2018 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Explore the Crooked Run Valley and Sky Meadows State Park with Bishop's Events 5k, 10k and half marathon races. Get rejuvenated as you traverse through the meadows, pastures and woodlands of Sky Meadows, and into the back roads of the scenic Crooked Run Valley. Purchase a Wine Festival ticket, and after the race in the Historic Area enjoy tasting three wines at five separate wineries, as well as food and other activities, including honey/hive products from Beekeepers of Northern Shenandoah. Races benefits the Friends of Sky Meadows, who support park programming. For more information, and to register:
